Lady Gaga wants to make herself a movie star - she's working on a Moonwalker inspired music video that will be as long as a feature film and will be shown in theaters.

"Gaga is a real creative genius and is thinking about new possibilities all the time. She's very excited about a movie, but she wants to do it right. She wants to work with the best people in the business," a source said. 

"Gaga wants to emulate what Michael Jackson did during the '80s. You can already see that with her music videos. Every one of them is a mini event. So it's only logical she moves that on to the big screen. Gaga likes to be in control. She is behind everything on her own movie. It could take a long time," the source added. 

Rumor has it that Lady Gaga has approached Bryan Singer to direct some, if not all of the movie.
