Molly Ringwald Talks 'Getting The Pretty Back' (Video)
The mother of three says "I was turning 40, and for anyone that's gone through it, it's this angst-ridden time - or it can be. I was looking around and wanted to read something that would offer inspiration, not some dour self-help book, but something that made me feel good about it. I couldn't find it, so I decided to write it myself."
Does she want her kids to follow in her footsteps and join showbiz? "No," Ringwald says. "It's a business and it's hard... I survived. I think that if [my daughter] stays in school and later decides... I'll support her. It's a decision she needs to make."
