Donald Trump Confirms Last Season Of Non-Celeb 'Apprentice' Likely; Talks Finale

12/7/2010 12:30pm EST
The Don confirmed that this season of NBC's "The Apprentice," now in its tenth season, will likely be the last edition with non-celebrities.

"We wanted to do one more," he told us. "But the celebrity edition has really been a great success."

Trump also attributed the recession as a factor.

"It was a go-go world. 'The Apprentice' went on in that atmosphere," he said, describing the economic climate five or six years ago, when the show was in its early seasons, which featured top graduates from top business schools. In the current cycle, down-on-their-luck Americans who've suffered in t...

Pierce Brosnan To Return To TV With New Series

11/22/2010 12:30pm EST
Typically, James Bond movies end with: "James Bond will return."

And he has. Or Pierce Brosnan has, anyway.

For the first time in 25 years, the former 007 will star in a new television series, which remains untitled for now. It comes to us from former "ER" writer Jack Orman.

The show will be a drama, and Brosnan will reportedly play a private investigator who lives in Los Angeles.

The last time Brosnan starred on a TV series was in 1982, when "Remington Steele" premiered.

While Brosnan will produce the show, he will unlikely play the lead role in order to juggle other projects.

No one can say this season of "Dancing with the Stars" hasn't been interesting.

It's been a season of many unexpected eliminations, culminating in last week's ousting of singer Brandy and her professional partner, Maksim Chmerkovskiy. The pair had consistently scored high with the judges, and received a perfect score before being voted off last Tuesday. Celebrity eliminations are determined after their judges' scores are combined with viewer votes.

In light of considerable public support after his surprising elimination with Brandy, Maks launched a personal blog on Thursday, sharing his...

'The Middle' Recap: 'Errand Boy'

11/18/2010 11:08am EST
The Middle
This week on "The Middle," Brick's arguing his case to staying home alone, even though Frankie thinks he's too scatter-brained to be granted the privilege.

"You know how distracted he gets," she tells Mike in bed. "That reminds me, he ate another Band-Aid this morning."

"One of ours or one he found?" Mike asks.

Brick wants to stay home because he dreads being Frankie's "errand boy," which involves being dragged around from one menial task to another, like choosing which shade of blue fabric Frankie should buy, or hooking her bra in the dressing room.

Mike's got his own problem to dea...

'The Middle' Recap: Episode 6, 'Halloween'

10/28/2010 9:45am EDT
The Middle Halloween episode
It's Halloween on "The Middle" this week, which means Frankie's dragging Mike to a neighborhood costume party. The problem? A mix of stodgy and too-cool-for-school, Mike refuses to dress up and look like an idiot.

Axl and his buddies, meanwhile, are planning to drive a bunch of dates out to a haunted house, hoping to cash in on their fear, lending a shoulder to cry on and cozy up to.

Finally, Sue -- who's wearing her cross-country hoodie and lavender jeans for a sixth consecutive episode -- failed to nab a date for the school's Halloween dance, and is now forced to attend the holy hayr...

Grassroots Campaign Wants 'Psych' Stars On 'SNL'

10/27/2010 10:35am EDT
If one show has impassioned, loyal fans to be reckoned with, it's "Psych."

They call themselves "Psych-Os," and in just a couple of weeks, nearly 30,000 of them have united in an online effort to nab leads James Roday and Dulé Hill a dual hosting gig on NBC's long-running, live sketch show.

The grassroots campaign appeared about a week before the official "Psych" Facebook page cracked the 1 million member milestone on October 20. Dubbed "Psych Out SNL," the movement's own Facebook group states that the writers of USA's quirkily funny police procedural have given the undertaking their o...

Audrina Patridge Talks About Her Shocking 'Dancing' Elimination

10/27/2010 8:14am EDT
Audrina Patridge
Sadly, the ultra-sexy and sweet Audrina Patridge got the ol' heave-ho from "Dancing with the Stars" Tuesday night. Alongside professional partner Tony Dovolani, she talked to Jimmy Kimmel about the reality competition's most surprising elimination this season.

"We're still in shock right now," said Patridge, star of MTV's reality show "The Hills."

"There's no way you should have been voted off tonight," Kimmel replied. "Did Heidi and Spencer have anything to do with this?"

Patridge and Dovolani were strong competitors this season, which is the top-rated show's eleventh. Last night, th...

'The Middle' Recap: Episode 5, 'Foreign Exchange'

10/21/2010 3:47pm EDT
"We'd love to, but we're so busy with... recycling, and everything," Frankie explains to a friend at church, who encourages Frankie to participate in a foreign exchange program, in which the Hecks would host a student from Japan.

But with Axl and Sue going at each other like coked-out hyenas, Frankie eventually thinks that the program would teach her children the importance of tolerance and cooperation.

"Is there a catalogue we can look at?" Axl asks, hoping the student is a hot blonde from Scandinavia.

Frankie tells the family they're going to be ambassadors, and that the Japanese stud...

'The Middle' Recap: 'The Quarry'

10/14/2010 8:10am EDT
"Apparently the half box of donuts I stole from work wasn't enough," Frankie gripes, complaining how one of her duties as a cross-country mom is to bring healthy snacks for the athletes.

It's this sour attitude that kicks off this week's episode of "The Middle," and it's what caused Frankie to pray at church that cross-country would get cut at the upcoming school budget meeting. Although it's the sole extracurricular daughter Sue has successfully joined (she's been wearing her team hoodie non-stop for four episodes), Frankie's bitter about having to thanklessly prepare signs, make food an...
