At first when watching the preview for Fox's new show Lone Star I was a little put out by the plot set up. Con man- been done. Womanizing con man- been done a million times. A theiving, womanizing, con man- can't even count. The main character is "the best at what he does" and is obviously pushed by his father; however, half way through a curve ball is thrown, the main character actually doesn't want to be a con man anymore. The show looks like it could potentially be a good drama based on the fact that the main character isn't just a one layer prototype usually used for con men. Internal struggle is always good television. The show stars James Wolk, Eloise Mumford, David Keith, Adrianne Palicki, Mark Deklin, Bryce Johnson, and Jon Voight. It premeires September 20th at 9:00pm on FOX.
