It's Friday, so you know what you should be watching: Strike Back. After last week's Labor Day marathon, the show has returned with a brand new episode tonight. While Leatherby continues to cause problems for our heroes at Section 20, Cinemax has provided us with some preview clips and behind-the-scenes video, which you can find at the end of this article.
But there's even more awesome news: the network is bringing the original first season of Strike Back to the airwaves. Die-hard fans will know that the first season on Cinemax was actually the show's second; the debut cycle aired in the UK back in 2010, and starred Andrew Lincoln (now famous for his role as Rick Grimes on The Walking Dead) and Richard Armitage (Spooks). Armitage then appeared briefly in the first season on Cinemax.
You'll be able to see all six episodes of the first season of Strike Back - which Cinemax has rebranded Strike Back: Origins to avoid confusion - starting Friday, October 18, the week after Strike Back wraps up its third cycle. If you've never seen it, there's a teaser trailer below to show you why you should be really excited right now.
Here's a behind-the-scenes piece for tonight's episode, followed by two clips previewing the action.
An all new Strike Back is on Cinemax tonight at 10 PM ET/PT.
