Director Makoto Kamiya Previews 'Resident Evil: Damnation'
The Resident Evil franchise has never been hotter. Not only are we eagerly awaiting the next video game installment, Resident Evil 6, but there will be a fifth live-action film and now Sony also has unveiled a second CGI motion picture, Resident Evil: Damnation.

Damnation is a sequel to the 2008 CG film Resident Evil: Degeneration, and again focuses on the character of Leon Kennedy, who this time "sneaks into a small Eastern European country to verify rumors that Bio Organic Weapons are being used in war. Right after his infiltration, the US government orders him to leave immediately. Determined to uncover the truth, Leon ignores the order and enters the battlefield to end the chain of tragedies."
At San Diego Comic-Con, Damnation director Makoto Kamiya spoke with our Richard Caughlin about what Resident Evil fans can expect from the movie. Watch the video interview below:
Resident Evil: Damnation arrives September 25 to Blu-Ray and DVD; you can pre-order your copy here.
