Lifetime's Army Wives has added plenty of new characters recently, and one of them is Caroline Hall, the daughter of Sergeant Eddie Hall, who doesn't get along with stepmom Maggie. Caroline is played by actress Ella Wahlestedt, who joined BFTV recently to talk about coming onto the show in its seventh season and what ambitions she has for the rest of her career.

After having given us the infectious electronic-pop hits "Fireflies" and "Good Time," Owl City - or as his parents would call him, Adam Young - is lending his quirky musical ability to one of America's favorite snack foods, Oreo cookies. Adam has teamed up with Oreo to provide the voice for their new "Wonderfilled" ad campaign. You can watch the new national TV spot featuring Owl City here, or simply listen to - and download! - the song here.

BFTV had the opportunity to join Adam for the launch of the "Wonderfilled" campaign, and we sat down with him to ask about not just the tune, but oth...

'Nikita' Season Finale Recap: Two Fake Deaths and the End of Division

May 18th, 2013 9:20am EDT
Nikita
Here we are: the Nikita season finale, picking up where "Invisible Hand" left off. In true Nikita season finale fashion, "Til Death Do Us Part" is an hour full of major twists and turns, jumping the show's narrative forward in a major way yet again. Whether or not it pays off is a matter of preference.

The show opens with a bang - literally - as Nikita has apparently shot the President in the head in the Oval Office. Because she could totally do that unnoticed without a ton of Secret Service agents swarming her. Uh...anyway, twelve hours earlier, she's wandering around an empty Division wh...

May 17th, 2013 2:15pm EDT
Eliana Jones
As Nikita wraps up its third season (and prepares for its final run sometime next year), it's time to meet a talented actress who was with the show at the beginning. Eliana Jones played the young Alexandra Udinov, and went on to be one of the players in Netflix's horror series Hemlock Grove. BFTV recently chatted with Eliana to find out more about both roles - and also more about this up-and-coming young actress.

The Canadian native came to acting after spending six years as a gymnast, when her mother took her to an acting class. "I went and I decided this would be really interesting and I...

Joe Mantegna is one of the great actors in show business. Whatever the medium or the genre, he always delivers an outstanding performance. On television, he's best known as Special Agent David Rossi on CBS's long-running procedural Criminal Minds. Mantegna joined BFTV yesterday to discuss next week's double-length Criminal Minds season finale and what it's been like for him to bring Rossi to life for the last six years.

"It's a two hour episode," the actor said of Wednesday's final installment. "It's like a little movie in a way. We're able to pull out all stops and devote our energy, our ...

Chris Richardson On The Right Track After 'American Idol'

May 15th, 2013 12:20pm EDT
Chris Richardson
Chris Richardson may have come to national attention thanks to American Idol, but there's a lot more to the singer-songwriter than just a fifth-place finish on a reality TV show. He recently sat down with BFTV to share the complete picture of who he is and talk about establishing a music career after being in the television spotlight.

"I feel like I've gotten past that show, and [I'm] being introduced as Chris Richardson, and not so much as Chris Richardson from American Idol," reflected the Virginia native, who released the single "Joy and Pain" in August of 2012. Asked if he was concerne...

'The Voice' Recap: Did Song Choice Eliminate Another Artist?

May 15th, 2013 6:54am EDT
The Voice
The second week of live playoffs on The Voice was just as crazy as the one before it - but at the end, it came down to one of the most important things in the singing competition: song choice.

Monday's Top 12 performance show had more than a few eyebrow-raising moments. A heat wave knocked out the Los Angeles studio's air conditioning, forcing everyone to sweat their way through half the show until it could be repaired. At one point, host Carson Daly found out that if the temperature rose too high, the lights could go out. "That'll be fun for America," he quipped.

But perhaps the most sur...

Hell's Kitchen
After Amanda Giblin's exit from FOX's Hell's Kitchen, BFTV caught up with the 28-year-old executive chef from Orange County, New York to get her post-competition thoughts.

"I am a damn good sauté chef! I rocked the fish station every time I was put there. I am mostly proud to be associated with such a wonderful, strong group of women!" Amanda enthused, though she also told us, "I would have taken better control over the situation, not allowing myself to get so upset and frazzled."

What did she take away from her time in Hell's Kitchen? "I find as a Chef now, I’m more confident in my decis...

Everything's looking up for Emeli Sande. Since the Scottish singer-songwriter released Our Version of Events in 2012, she watched it become the year's best-selling album in the UK, performed at the London Olympics, and enjoyed a huge international buzz. She's now featured on the soundtrack to Baz Luhrmann's The Great Gatsby, which opened Friday. BFTV caught up with the red-hot singer to get to know her better.

"The whole of last year was just such a crazy ride for me," Emeli reflected. "I feel like it's really surpassed my expectations and it's gone a lot quicker than I ever would've imagi...
