The first season 4 trailer for The Walking Dead debuted at Comic-Con this weekend and, just to warn you, the roughly 4 and a half minute trailer is chock-full of delicious sneak peeks into our beloved survivors’ (plus new additions from Woodbury) new life post-Governor (who’s MIA in the trailer but promised to return at some indeterminate point in the season) inside the prison walls–but don’t worry, the zombies are still a formidable threat; actually, they seem to be a bigger danger than ever before, as evidenced by shots of more attacks within the prison, a swarm surrounding a car, and a horde big enough to knock down the prison’s gates.

Have a look at the trailer below.

The new season premieres October 13 at 9PM ET on AMC.

Bonus: The song playing in the second half of the trailer is “Serpents” by Sharon Van Etten. A full version of the song is below.
