When I wrote recently about the Roku Streaming Stick launching in October, I noted that the televisions I had at home likely wouldn’t be able to support the tiny wireless Roku player. But now comes an alternate solution from 3M.

3M announced last week the 3M Streaming Projector, which is small enough to fit in one hand, but still delivers an image up to 120 inches. It’s powered by that Roku Streaming Stick and has a battery life of up to 2 hours, 45 minutes. It also works off of Wi-Fi so you don’t need an insanely long Ethernet cable if you’re planning to use it outside.

It’s also important to note that for the price of $299, the Roku Streaming Stick, which itself retails for $99, is included with a purchase of the 3M Streaming Projector.

The 3M Streaming Projector starts shipping on October 22, but you can pre-order from Amazon.com now for $299. To learn more, you can visit 3M’s website here.
