Canadian actress Kari Matchett is pregnant with her first child.

The Covert Affairs star is due to give birth next month but has not revealed details of the baby's father. She wed moviemaker T. W. Peacocke in 1998 but they ended their marriage in 2004.

Confirming her pregnancy news, former 24 actress Matchett tells Life & Style magazine, "I'm due in just over a month. I don't know if it's a boy or girl, but the names are picked out."

Country star Tim Mcgraw rushed to the aid of an ailing fan who fainted near the stage during his recent gig in Atlanta, Georgia.

Embattled country star Randy Travis has filed a lawsuit against two state agencies in Texas to prevent footage from his August arrest from going public.

Trent Reznor has been quick to replace departing bassist Eric Avery in Nine Inch Nails - his longtime collaborator Robin Finck is to join the band.

Reznor announced the news on the band's Tumblr.com page on Friday.

Avery quit the band earlier this week, insisting Nine Inch Nail's upcoming schedule had overwhelmed him and he was taking a break to concentrate on other projects in Los Angeles.

Finck, who last worked with the band in 2009, will join Reznor and his new-look Nine Inch Nails when they kick off their world tour at the Fuji Rock Festival in Japan in July.
