The Asian trailer for Hollywood's latest take on Godzilla hit the internet on Monday, revealing that the Japanese Kaiju will have an opponent to battle in the new film, and it's not humans.

During the latest preview, Joe Brody (Bryan Cranston) believes that the government is hiding the actual cause of a recent string of destruction, telling the public it was caused by natural disasters. But Brody doesn't believe it and seeks to find the real truth.

Soon a giant winged creature flies by a building, revealing that Godzilla isn't the only monster in the film.

Director Gareth Edwards shared footage from the film at WonderCon in Anaheim last weekend, but never revealed whether or not the second monster is Mothra.

Ichiro Serizawa (Ken Watanabe) suggests that the monsters were created by man in Japanese experiments gone wrong when he says, "The arrogance of man is thinking nature is in our control. And not the other way around."

"Godzilla" hits theaters on May 16 and also stars Elizabeth Olsen, Juliette Binoche and David Strathairn.
