The Come Ons are proof that there are bands in the year 2000 who are still affected by the Motown sound of Detroit. Girl groups such as The Supremes can be heard throughout their debut album with the incorporation of dual vocal duties, hand clap rhythms and some pretty impressive organ leads. The results are fairly upbeat throughout most of this album, while on mid-tempo tracks such as "He's a Man" showcases more of a Dusty Springfield influence.
