The Boomtown Rats Ratrospective [ep] Release Date: 1983 03 zz Label: Columbia Ratrospective was a six-song "best of" EP containing The Boomtown Rats' only U.S. singles chart entry, "I Don't Like Mondays," "Rat Trap," which had been a UK chart topper, and other favorites. It was intended as a summing up of the group for the U.S.; Columbia Records rejected The Rats' next album, In The Long Grass, and only released it in the wake of lead singer Bob Geldof's Live Aid celebrity.
