The kazoo-toting bluesman wasn't as powerful a presence when he came back in 1960 to record this set in a solo setting as he was in his Bluebird heyday, but it's hard to resist these agreeable versions of "Let Me Play with Your Poodle," "Love Her with a Feeling, " and "It's Tight like That" nonetheless.
