Sylvia Syms After Dark Label: Version Highly stylized cabaret songs, some pre-rock pop, and an occasional jazz number, all done by Sylvia Syms. Even more than Bobby Short, the Syms style is an acquired taste. She doesn't attempt to swing, has a deadpan voice, and really turns lyrics into elaborate productions.
