Steve Hackett & John Hackett Sketches of Satie Release Date: 2000 05 08 Running Time: 48:49 Label: Jvc Victor This collaboration by brothers Steve Hackett (ex-Genesis guitarist) and John Hackett is a skilled and sensitive interpretation of selected works by classical composer Erik Satie. The original works, composed for piano, were here arranged for classical guitar and the aforementioned flute. Flutist John Hackett has played on many of his brother Steve's solo albums, but this is the first full-scale collaboration between the two. The result is a soothing, satisfying, and sometimes haunting album.
