Concert of a Lifetime for Kids
Release Date: 2001
Label: Word Distribution

Concert of a Lifetime for Kids is definitely one of the better children's worship albums out there. The music is arranged well and it isn't condescending toward its audience. What makes it a children's album is the addition of a kids' choir and the choice of popular, familiar songs, including Michael W. Smith's "Great Is the Lord," Rich Mullins' "Awesome God," and Ray Boltz's own "Thank You." The last two songs of the album, "Saving Grace" and "It's Not Enough," seem a little mature for the intended audience, and, despite the addition of claps and cheering, this is clearly a studio album artificially given a live "concert" feel. All in all, this is a fun album that children and adults can listen to and enjoy together. Melinda Hill, All Music Guide
