While only three of the ten tracks are live, this is still a much more satisfying album than Peggy Scott-Adams previous efforts. Of the three live tracks (performed in Montgomery, Alabama), two suspiciously don't sound all-the-way-live, but they're still enjoyable slices of Southern soul seductively executed in Scott-Adams husky, deep-throated delivery. The seven studio cuts are all worthy, but lack the sweetening horns that define the type of music she's portraying. Peggy emulates Betty Wright on "I'm Getting What I Want," but displays her own unique persona on the rest. The best of the studio jams: "Sweaty Men" (all three mixes) especially, the dark, funky "doggie style mix" and "When I'm With You." Andrew Hamilton, All Music Guide Tracks:
