Well, my son plays on a competitive soccer team and ironically, that is where I learn most of my spanish: El era offsides! : pasa la bola!; es usted arbitro loco? bloquee a su hombre! Mire antes de que pase! Eso debe ser un arbitro tarjeta amarilla! Centro! Gol! Esta es la razon por la cual practica! The soccer boys like to help me with my spanish and when I say "Como se Dice...." and then a word - they love to tell me the incorrect word so that I say something stupid. I have learned my lessons well! Cabritos chistosos! | ||

She knows her public and her music is cater to the cuban americans who live here. I met her when she was in Miami Sound Machine. I knew then after I heard her sing that she would go far. She is shy in person, doesn't talk much. She knows the cuban rhythm and she goes for it in a big way. I like her because she is a simple person who doesn't put on airs. | ||
