JT Money Blood Sweat and Years Release Date: 2001 04 03 Label: Priority JT Money has only one thing on his mind -- moving bodies on the dancefloor. The veteran rapper has been creating booty-bumpin' hip-hop tracks since his first solo album Pimpin' on Wax, and Blood Sweat & Years is more of the same. Tracks such as "Where My Thugs At" and "Hi-Lo" are all engineered with club DJs in mind. When JT Money is at his best, his lyrical flow can keep up with the music's blistering pace, but too often his rhymes lag behind, especially on tracks like "Superbitch" and the bilingual, Spanglish number "Sosa on That Chocha." JT Money will never be mistaken for a lyrical giant like Rakim, but the fact that his lyrics are subpar will mean little to clubgoers who will appreciate the album for exactly what it is -- an invitation to get on the dancefloor.
