| dam theirs so many great bands out their i couldnt forget genesis all of their songs are good 2 n very catchy phil collins is also good as a solo artist i luv his song in the air of tonight his voice is so powerful that song is perfect especially when the drums come in! | ||

| I like one of their songs. My parents really like them and went to one of their concerts not too long ago. They scarred me for life! Whenever I hear of a genesis from the Bible, I think of Phil Collins! That's not right! And it's my parents fault for letting me be around music! That's why I'm such a music dork! (I can't forgive them enough for that!) | ||

| I do not think that Phil Collins can ever match the musical effervescence that Peter Gabriel brought to the stage. Phil appears too contrived, too canned, not unsimilar to Musak programmed music loops running in an elevator. There are some songs that I like with Phil as frontman, but Peter Gabriel was the true showman. After Peter Gabriel left upon recording "The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway," there were a couple of good albums with Peter's influence still casting a shadow upon the music. Then, with the recording of "Duke" Genesis became a top 40 band and Phil Collins sold his songs to anyone who would listen, especially, Disney. I long to hear "Watcher of the Skies" , "I Know What I like (in your wardrobe)" or "Robbery, Assault and Battery" on true FM rock stations. | ||

| Genesis Was soO good IN Phila Last nite! OMG It was like hearing 10 albums in one show! They blew me away, and I've seen them 3 times in the 70's... Do yourself a favor and get tickets! | ||

| Sounds like their tour is going great. The pics of the stage I've seen are awesome. And reviews are quite good. Makes me think I should catch them when they come around later this year... | ||
