Front Range
New Frontier
Release Date: 1992
Running Time: 37:17
Label: Sugar Hill Records

Front Range's New Frontier doesn't exactly explore new ground, but the group's fusion of traditional and progressive bluegrass is certainly impressive. Largely comprised of original material, the album sometimes is lacking in memorable songs, but all of the performances are first-rate -- the group keeps the grit and speed of traditional bluegrass, while reaching into the eclectism of newgrass.
