Most of the songs on this second-part offering are just as mellow as the ones on the first. There are a few bounces too, including background vocals done by artists Alison Krauss and Pam Tillis -- both very talented ladies of country who can sing like angels. You'll also hear plenty of acoustic guitar and great lyrics on this album. Songs like "Nights Are Forever Without You," "Three Time Loser," "We Are One," and "Love on Arrival" kind of take fans back to earlier works by Dan Seals. In a Quiet Room II is one of those recordings that is perfect to accompany a lazy, relaxing afternoon when you want to just sit back, close your eyes, and let the music and its words and meanings flow over you.
