The Fear Inside Review:
Leon Ichaso (Sugar Hill) directed this typical "tenant from Hell" film about an agoraphobic woman (Christine Lahti) threatened by crazy Jennifer Rubin and her homicidal boyfriend (Dylan McDermott). Coming across as a warped remake of the classic Lady in a Cage, the film offers nothing really unusual or new, but is at least competently acted and directed. Debuting on Showtime in the midst of a slew of similar films -- most of which were better -- The Fear Inside was quickly lost in the shuffle, but those viewers who can't get enough of demented roommates should give it a look.
