Sky Racket Review:
Not at all bad for its kind, Sky Racket benefits from a superior cast that includes Hattie McDaniel as Joan Barclay's constantly fretful domestic. It is the kind of comedy turn than no one could do better and McDaniel positively shines. Joan Barclay and Herman Brix get in a few choice lines of their own, meanwhile, and even veteran baddie Monte Blue joins in the fun, all courtesy of producer-director Sam Katzman who, as usual, manages to squeeze every drop of excitement out of a typically daffy script and a meager budget. Leading man Brix, a former Tarzan, later changed his name to Bruce Bennett and played Joan Crawford's estranged husband in Mildred Pierce (1945). Hans J. Wollstein, All Movie Guide
