Miss Nevada Nia Sanchez may have won the crown of Miss USA 2014 on Sunday night, but it's another pageant hopeful who has everyone talking.

Miss Indiana Mekayla Diehl, who didn't even finish in the top 10, has been the talk of the 'net for having a more realistic body type than just about every other contestant.

While Sanchez was taking the crown from reigning Miss USA Erin Brady, the twitterverse was exploding over Mekayla's fuller body, praising her for not being the typical bag of antlers model.

The 25-year-old did make it into the top 20, but she didn't go unnoticed, being praised for not being "a complete twig" like all the other models.

The gorgeous brunette, who weighs in at 137lbs and stands 5-foot-8, has no regrets about her body. She says that her swimsuit scores weren't high enough to win the pageant, but it hasn't gotten her down.

"With not advancing to the next level of competition, and having such a positive feedback on my body... I feel like I won in itself."

The average contestant is 5-foot-9 and weighs 112 lbs.

Here's a couple of comments that were made about the aspiring designer...

"Dear #MissIndiana thank you for looking like an average woman," wrote @stephwatson_91; while @k_mck12 said, "The fact that Miss Indiana is not a complete twig makes me really happy!"

@NotTooShabby12 spoke for many, writing, "I really wanted Miss Indiana to make it to the top 10. She was the only girl up there who had a relatively normal body."

Mekayla ran on the platform of child sexual abuse, with hopes of raising awareness, something she'll continue on her own despite not winning the competition.

"I'm advocating for child abuse awareness. I was sexually abused as a child," she told Entertainment Tonight, "so I continue to raise awareness and funds for organizations [that help victims]."

We're not sure why Mekayla didn't win the pageant, because we can't find a single thing wrong with her!
