Miley Cyrus Stars In Controversial Flaming Lips Music Video About LSD
Former Disney star Miley Cyrus isn't one to shy away from controversial topics, so her appearance in the new Flaming Lips video for the appropriately titled "Blonde SuperFreak Steals The Magic Brain," is no stretch.
The video is essentially a trippy tribute to the drug LSD. The band's singer Wayne Coyne said that the song was originally intended to have a reference to LSD. He revealed, "We were lucky enough to get a couple of hours with a bedridden Miley Cyrus. And even though she was still quite ill, she was full of laughs and great absurd suggestions."
The video centers around Miley stealing John F. Kennedy's brain, which contains the original formula for LSD. The problem is that the evil, power-hungry cult leader played by Moby also wants the brain. Moby then enlists the help of a blonde superfreak in order to steal the brain from Cyrus.
When Cyrus wakes up from her drug-induced coma, she realizes that the brain is gone, so she gets help from a burned-faced Santa and a lesbian Bigfoot to get it back.
