Rapper M.I.A. is set to fulfill her promise of a free show for New Yorkers - she's lined up a mystery gig in Brooklyn.
The Paper Planes hit-maker was forced offstage early at the Hard NYC event on Governors Island in July when a huge thunderstorm broke out; sparking fears she could be electrocuted.
The early finish prompted criticism from some fans - and the British star responded by promising to play a free concert in the Big Apple for all ticketholders. And now M.I.A. has made good on her vow - she's lined up a show at the Brooklyn Bowl venue but has yet to reveal the date.
In a post on her Twitter.com page, she writes, "The Brooklyn Bowl! Confirmed for NYC free show!"
No further details were given but it's believed the rapper - who is currently on tour and is due to play at New York's Terminal 5 on Monday - will perform at the venue in late September or early October.
