Just before turning 14, Mexican teen singing sensation Belinda launched her self-titled CD, which became a great success in all of Latin America and Spain exceeding sales of 800,000 copies. Her "Party on the Flat Roof" tour became a huge success with more than 1,500,000 people attending the more than 120 live shows. She has been awarded, among many awards, the female Record of the National Auditorium in Mexico City where she performed 12 Shows of the tour with 120,000 people attending. A DVD of the tour was produced in the Auditorium, which very quickly exceeded sales of over 100,000 units. She gathered more than 120,000 people at the Zocalo of Mexico City in a memorable live concert to end the tour.

Belinda's new album "Utopia" hit stores in October. Recorded in Los Angeles, Utopia contains 13 pop songs produced and composed by some of the best of their kind in the industry; including Kara DioGuardi (Kelly Clarkson and Gwen Stefani), Jimmy Harry (Kylie Minogue and Britney Spears), Doc McKeeny (RES), Greg Kursten (Lily Allen and Pink), Lester Méndez (Santana and Shakira), and Greg Wells (Celine Dion and Elton John).

She recently shot her first English movie with Disney named "Cheetah Girls 2."
