Oops, yes I do mean "Ignorance". Irony much :/ Not quite sure why I typed that. I like it anyway, very enjoyable.

Shes a very skilled violinist and I like her mix of baroque and unique style of dark cabaret. Her lyrics are pretty clever and actually very funny at times. Her songs can be a bit hit and miss, though Opheliac is a very good record.

I'd say this thread isn't a discussion about the do's and don't of the English language, but given how odd this thread... Anyway chillax mfs.

Music - Re: Is slipknot the best band ever
2009-01-07 13:28:04
Slipknots brutal? Thats news to me tbh. Try listening to some old school death metal, Pestilence, Carcass, Death, Atheist or some newer stuff like Meshuggah, Gojira, Strapping Young Lad ;) Throwing things at the audience isnt really something that appeals to me, I enjoy a good show sure, but light shows, pyrotechnics etc
Music - Re: Is slipknot the best band ever

Hardly. Theres no such thing as "best band ever" because its so subjective (opinions) but looking at it objective (facts) Slipknot havent had anywhere enough importance/influence to argue them to be that. And looking at pure talent, Jordison is the only one who really impresses on his instrument. I like a few of their songs, but all rather formulaic tbh.

Movies - Re: What upcoming flick(s) are you most looking forward to seeing?
2009-01-04 07:27:47
I really want to see Slumdog Millionaire, its already out but its limited viewing in all the local cinemas here so I havent had a chance to catch it yet :/ Thinking of seeing Frost/Nixon when that arrives.

Music - Re: RE: which rap is better gangsta or underground rap
2008-12-31 13:06:09
Underground rap. "Gangsta" rap is what gives rap its bad reputation as all being meaningless tripe about money, hoes n' biatches which it isnt really. But then the people who think that don't open their eyes beyond what they're fed by the mass media. Usually I find more to like in underground rap, better lyrics, more creative beats (less boom click Timberland boredom) and a greater emphasis on interesting melody.
Music - Re: What song is stuck in your head?

"Paper Planes" - M.I.A.
