regaee isnt really my thing but this guy was the master, i proudly own a triple set of bob marleys music. he not only had a great voice and was an excellent musician, he was a prophet, a mystic and a beautiful person dedicated to his music and religion (rastafarianism). his music is classic and universally enjoyable.  there would be something wrong with someone to not like his music, surely.

to save my sanity. to gather my thoughts, to relax, to fly away on a fantasy,  to kill the pain, to block out the screaming fighting kids, to let my hair down, to feel young again, to bring back good memories, to remind me of loved ones, to invoke good things to happen, --------the list could go on for ever, music is true liberation, everything else binds, music is the true gift from god. only music liberates, only music can take you that high without hurting you.      all i can say is  MUSIC HAS SAVED MY LIFE    !!!!!  music is my life ! lol

now im old enough to remeber bob dylan!!  my mum had all his albums and some bootlegs as well. i think his a genius poet/songwriter and in my teens i learned some of his songs and played them at the peace camps i was living at , i know he went all religious but genius sometimes does that ( look at head from korn ,  syd barrett from pink floyd). he still is a master!!  all hail bob dylan

on may 16th  ,  system of a downs new album mesmerised!  best album so far this year, every track is a blinder, so good you cant argue with it!    i cant stop playing it!!!

ive heard two track of theirs on metal hammer compilations they are brilliant i love their heavy yet melodic sound lovely keyboards and by a woman so fair play. ' love lost in a hail of gunfire'    and on wings of lead'  id like to go and see them in june, newports the nearest venue, and my partner knows it really well!!  i shall have to be very nice to him tho, as he hates metal!!!!! lol

i ,like both and have cds of both, but    i guess i like the bizkit slightly more,  but fred is a X@@##!!  linkin park seem  pretty cool guys but their music is on the light end of my taste!!!!!  so both or neither !!!!!!!!

this is the most amazing dynamic multi cultural, multi tempoed, heavy yet melodic, its the best album so far this year. every track is brilliant and ive got to know the whole cd in 5 days!!!  its an absolute work of art, i have all their cds and this one tops the lot. cant wit till the second part comes out. !!    is it december yet?        !!!!!

my daughter has loved them since she was 10- 11 years old , she still swears theyre her fave band and shes nearly 17!! thats pretty consistant for a teenager, i like them, they rock,

woohh sorry to hear about neil youngs illness , in my hippy days, he was an icon for me, i love his music, from crosby stills nash and young up to recent.  classics were, southern man, like a hurricane , out of the blue (into the black), ohio, old man, and many many more!!
