Who ever wrote this article about Miss Garland is sadly mistaken she never had a drinking problem. Her problems were with perscription drugs that were forced upon her at a young age.
This article makes her sound comletely tragic and she wasn't. Judy Garland was and remains one of the funiest, sweetest wittiest, and most sincere women who ever walked the planet. After Marrying Vincent she stopped taking the pills completly until she was forced back into work after Liza was born. Though I'm sure she was dissapointed with not winning the oscar in 1954 (which many people say was stolen from her) she was thrilled because she had just given birth to her son Joe. There are way to many other things I could point out as inncorret in this artiticle. But I couldn't ever have the time. To say that Judy Garland was talented is an uderstatement.
