My disable husband and I were on a rescue foundation waiting list to obtain a service animal for over five years. Finally, three years ago, a puppy mill was raided in Houston, TX & we received the sickest & ugliest of a mix breed Chihuaha/Fox Terrier. He had crusted ears, worms, no shots, underfed & infantile mange. He was so pathetic looking my husband & I didn't know if we would be able to care for him. Well, he looked like one of those hairless cats that win World's Ugliest competitions I told my hubby he looked like a Cheecharone - a dried up little pork rind. We did take care of him & my Good Lord he has been the cutest, loyal, loving & protective little 8 lb mutt I've ever seen. He alerts me when hubby is getting ready to have a seizure & protects him as if he were King Tut. Since we took good care of him & he takes good care of us we had to refer to him as Cheech instead of his birthname, because we believe he is just as adorable & honest as Cheech Marin. Yeah, hubby is a big fan of Nash Bridges - I'm a big fan of Cheech & Chong!

Not only do I enjoy his work, but his humble & calm demeanor is better than all of the silliness & obnoxious behavior the younger stars demonstrate. He has class by keeping a low profile. Now that's HOT!
