It was a sad day for me on Sunday when Gareth Gates was booted off Dancing on ice. I used to look forward to my Sunday nights seeing him skate around so gracefully. He was a pleasure to watch and so humble too.Not to mention how good he looked in all the outfits, except the stripey trousers, just hated them. Gareth and Maria had such fun together and really connected unlike some of the other couples on the show. The final has lost its magic now it has lost Gareth, and is going to be very predictable and boring.

I thought Gareth and Maria's was the best performance of the night, there is no holding Gareh now he has got his confidence back. Didnt like the outfits tonight though, do hope they give him something better to wear next week. I don't know why but Chris just leaves me cold and can't stand the hideous eye make up. Suzanne comes across as quite desperate at times. Its a very close call though between the 3 of them, as everyone is upping their game. A few surprises tonight with Zarrah in the skate off, think it should have been Linda but she has a lot of support with her fans from Emmerdale. I did think Steve was the right person to go tonight but felt sorry for his little girl she was heartbroken BLESS.

Used to love watching anything with Norman Wisdom in, he is still my hero and love his old films. Also Just Good Friends with Paul, Nicholas, saw him recently and my has he aged, he is 62 though LOL Ready Steady Go with Kathy McGowan and Juke Box Jury. really showing my age here. I allways remember the day we got our first TV it was 1953 and I was 8 years old, my Mum was in hospital having my sister and all the neighbours kids came round to watch the Coronation because we were the only ones in our road with a TV.

I think it will be interesting to see who goes this week, I agree with you Moonglow, by rights it should be Greg as he allways looks very clumsy on the ice to me, maybe its his height. But it could be Steve or even Linda, she is not great and her partner is doing his best to make her look good. She has even got him moved in with her LOL. Also these competitions are not allways about ability, Linda is well known and well liked for her role in Emmerdale. Really looking forward to the 60's theme tonight. ;D

Is anyone watching this programme at 6 00pm ITV Sunday evenings. I must admit to being addicted to it. I think Gareth Gates is doing exstremely well especially as he has had no formal training. Chris has had ice hockey training and Suzanne dance training. Gareth is a complete novice, My favourite performance was Razzle Dazzle and he looked so buff in the see through costume.  8)

I think Gareth Gates is exstremely talented. Love his new music and Album "Pictures of the other side". But much more than that I think Gareth is a very genuine person who values his fans and has worked hard to come back and I wish him every success as he deserves it.

Gareth needn't have worried as the tent was full to capacity, everyone interested to see what he had to offer.
He sang about 8 songs, all unknown from his new album released today and they went down a treat with the audience.

and finished off with a back to the original Spirit in the sky which left his audience shouting for me.
There were quite a few "I love you Gareth" being shouted out and not all from young girls, one came from a male group.
So pleased it all went well for him as he has worked very hard on his new album, all written and co-written by him and not a cover in sight every one original.
He was very brave to appear there among the Rock Giants as Gareth himself stated they were, he followed "On the shoulders of Giants."
