Marriage is not just a religious ceremony; marriage can be just a civil (legal) ceremony; no-one's religion needs to change to allow same sex couples to marry , though it would be great if the bigoted religions with their antiquated "belief" system joined the rest of us in the 21st century.

Consenting adults should be allowed to marry the person they love. The world would be a better place for it.

On stage, she said that what was great about our country was our right to choose and that she chose a man and a woman . . . well, okay - but now she is saying that consenting adults should not have the right to choose. In this case, I think the E.D. of the California pageant should exercise his right to choose a non-bigoted person to represent the state. Pitch this two-faced X@@##!!

Well, no, apparently you don't get it: it's a period piece, the fishnet veil is in keeping with that period. I remember pictures of both my grandmothers wearing these alone and in combination with a headpiece. And, most importantly, she looks great in this outfit!
