Recently forced to watch minimal channels at an extended stay motel and reluctantly turned to a network sitcom: "Two and A-Half Men." Was delighted at the laugh-out-loud comedy routines and the strangely unoffensive sexual comments, written and delivered minus the vulgarity of years-long network shows that resulted in my avoiding most network shows. Did not like Charlie either... his personal life infected any wish to see him as an entertainer. Yet here, he plays a charmingly amoral, immoral and lovable lout: a tribute to the writers, to Charlie and to his co-stars' interplay. In one segment, I literally laughed until I cried, repeatedly, almost throughout the segment. How good that is for anyone's health. Now, I assiduously make time for the reruns channel of two shows back-to-back six nights a week and the network's weekly show. Love slapstick and these three guys are better than Laurel and Hardy and the Carol Burnett's crew combined. Hopefully,we can look forward to Charlie being a fine person in fact, and a consistently great father who, incidentally, does not allow his precious little girls to be exploited on their mom's "reality" show, much as I so enjoy watching their innocent, honest, awe-filled responses to teas and gifts and their departed grandmom's love. This is my first fan letter in my 68 years. Thank you 2 and 1/2 guys. You make this Nana quite happy for her time spent in your company.
