Grab life by the balls while you still can (ie while you're not paying rent) because you are absolutely right when you say "that's crap" toward the way things happen for Ryden in "Post Grad" (as it's also pure crap how her eyes are finally opened to the love she supposedly feels for Adam-- but don't get me started on that; I've been ranting about it since Rachel kissed Ross after watching the prom video!) We all want life to imitate what we see in the movies, but sadly, that's not the case.

Man, Megan has the worst taste! Ryan made it to the final two (or so my sources at Viacom tell me). Otherwise, VH1 might be able to get away with starting the season over, just from the point AFTER he got kicked off. But since he never got kicked off and was in every episode, that's a big no go.
Same with "I Love Money 3." Rumor has it he won that season (but it's just a rumor, and VH1 said on Monday they were considering running it after all considering his death means he's no longer a personal of interest in a murder).
Megan must be fuming that her fifteen minutes just got cut a lot shorter, though!

Um, you completely ignored Mariah's supporting role in Lee Daniels' independent film "Tennessee," which was a huge hit at Sundance and then opened in limited release last year. In that, she was just as "plain," as you put it, earning praise from critics because of how real she was. She portrayed a waitress and aspiring singer who finally got up the courage to leave her abusive husband. She really showed she has come a LONG way from "Glitter" in that role, and it's really upsetting that you'd ignore it in an article like this. I'm sure she's good in "Precious," too, but this article makes it seem like she's completely out of her element/out of place in such a film. If you were aware of "Tennessee," you'd know that is not true at all.

I'm actually quite partial to Encore for the political and personal tracks (Mosh and Like Toy Soldiers are my favorites). I never count greatest hits or compilation albums toward an artist's solo body of work because of the lack of creative control they usually have in them. For example, "Curtain Call" was not an album of the songs he thought were his best but the ones that did the best in mainstream media. The only reason I bought it was for "When I'm Gone." "D12 World" and "The Re-Up" weren't Eminem albums: they were D12 and Shady Records albums, so a lot had to be compromised to get a variety of artist's voices/POVs across.
"40 Oz" isn't an instrumental track; there are lyrics. I just think the instrumental alone is amazing.

Nice writing but I have to disagree with the sentiment: the compound syllable combo stuff he does on songs like "Insane," "Bagpipes from Baghdad," and " "Stay Wide Awake" off "RELAPSE" is sick! His themes may be a bit repetitive at times but the way he goes about them is unique and memorable. And D12 World? Take a second listen: "How Come" is completely underrated and "40 oz" instrumental will get stuck in your head for days.
