Minyardrd, when I first read this article I agreed with it. There were entire pages about Bella "holding herself together because of the hole blown in her chest" or whatever that seemed a bit extensive and overdone. I felt like I understood that she was hurting, and in some cases it should be skipped.
But then I read your comment and I agree and totally understand what you're saying too. I never really thought about Jacob's aggression as being part of his werewolf nature. That thought hadn't even crossed my mind before I read your comment. So thank you for giving me another angle to look at this through. This movie is going to be great no matter what. The cast is great, the director is incredible (he directed The Golden Compass, my favorite books growing up). So I have high hopes for this movie as well!
I also want to say that I sort of feel like the people who don't enjoy the series haven't taken the time to actually read it. It's a very classic romance. It's been compared to Titanic and Romeo and Juliet in the deep and passionate romance that the two main characters experience. Finding that one person who fits you entirely, and ensuring they're always with you is a HUGE theme in these books. I think anyone who doesn't appreciate the passion of these books can't possibly have passion in their lives. Just give them a chance. They are truly wonderful and they whisk you away to a world you have only ever dreamed of. That's what makes these books magic.

Aw poor Jamie. I like Leah but she hasn't been impressing me lately. Jamie really seems to know what she's doing so it's really too bad that she ended up on the bottom of this challenge. I think the problem I have with this show sometimes is that the title of "Top Chef" is never cumulative. I mean, if you can stay in the middle of the challenges and pull out a win at the end, you'll be a Top Chef. I dunno. I just wish they would judge it based on how a chef has performed over the SERIES, rather than that specific episode. One mistake, even though the rest of the time you did well, will send you home. Blah!

However, the "theme" behind the challenge was from farm to fork, and honoring those ingredients. I mean...Ariane just butchered it. No pun intended.
