many artists are created on madison ave truly great artists are known by people that know their music. everyone has heard of madonna britney american idol people miley cirus etc etc these are aimed at the multitudes sort of the way the fab 4 are so well known. have a nice day

hey friend lets talk about some real music. the beatles wrote some cute tunes but they were really no better than many many songwriters they just recieved more exposure they were in the right place at the right time.if more people were familiar with the music of john prine jeff tweedy greg trooper nilsson just to name a few i dont think you would hear people say how great the beatles were they were ok but far far from the best
