I lived next door to Shannon's Mother Joan. She was a wonderful lady. She was living in a rent geared to income complex as we were with 5 children in tow. She often commented about the fact that Shannon was a model. I had seen Shannon walk by once after visiting her Mom. That was rare. I don't know if Shannon was modeling at that time or if she was already doing sex movies and playboy. She was an unknown to me. But she had a fantastic Mom. I have no idea where her Dad was. It was around 1970 or so. I notice Gene has his Mother on his episodes often but there is no mention of Shannon's Mom. I wonder if she is still living? If so - why does Shannon not acknowledge her?
