Richard Jenkins
2008-08-21 20:54:21
I caught The Visitor when it was in theaters, and it was one of my favorite films of the whole year! Richard Jenkins from Six Feet Under was outstanding, and the message of friendship throughout the movie was very powerful. The Visitor will be released on DVD October 7th, and I definitely plan on buying it. If you haven't seen the movie yet, you can find more info here: http://www.thevisitorfilm.com/

Here's the official site for Luke's new movie Henry Poole Is Here, which hits theaters on August 15th! The movie is about a guy who abandons his fiancée and family business to spend what he believes are his remaining days alone. The discovery of a "miracle" by a nosy neighbor ruptures his solitude and restores his faith in life. http://www.myspace.com/henrypooleishere

Television - Bridezillas- who else loves this show???
2007-06-12 23:55:29
Anyone else a fan of the show Bridezillas? I've been watching for about 2 1/2 seasons now, and it's seriously some of the best entertainment you could possibly ask for! These girls freak out and cat fight over every little issue that comes their way, and it's a scene you just can't tear yourself away from! If you haven't seen the show before, you can find a preview clip from the new season here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H6Fpr77ICBM Obnoxious brides maids, over-priced dresses...what more could you want?!?
Movies - Severance- Brit horror coming to the US tomorrow!
2007-05-17 17:54:24
Any other horror fans looking forward to the new slasher Severance finally coming to US theaters? Been excited to see this one for some time...I hear there's plenty of blood and gore, but a good amount of comedy infused to keep the story moving. If you're not familiar with the film, you can watch the first three minutes of Severance here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ca-xhttoHjQ

Movies - Re: BORAT!! BORAT!! BORAT!! (Have you seen the film yet)
2007-02-22 17:51:52
Borat is one of the funniest damn movies I have ever seen in my entire life! Here's an interview I ran across with Borat screenwriters Anthony Hines & Peter Baynham on making the film, writing satires, and getting sued by like a million gold diggers after it hit theaters! You can find it here: http://tinyurl.com/yqehex Can't wait for the sequel! I Like! Very Nice!
Celebrities - TARA REID GETS RECONSTRUCTED
2006-10-17 13:40:11
Read the new US weekly article about the reconstructive surgery Tara Reid had to have after her first surgery was botched a cuple of years ago. She looks really hot again without the extra in the front. You can read part of the article where she talks about her new movie Incubus and find pics here: http://www.usmagazine.com/node/2809. How do you think she looks?

Celebrities - Re: Steve Irwin *Crocodile Hunter* Dead
2006-09-12 17:29:45
While it's definitely sad that the guy died, I still don't understand how everybody is so *shocked* by his death. After all, he did make a living out of interacting with really, really dangerous creatures. Found a clip where this critic compares being stung by a sting ray to being fired by Paramount like Cruise and some other studio exec. Pretty funny, actually. http://tinyurl.com/ek8m7 (http://tinyurl.com/ek8m7)

Celebrities - Re: Who doesnt like katie cassidy? jesse mccartney's girlfriend!
2006-09-05 14:16:09
Haha, yeah, she is definitely becoming one of the more annoying little brats in the tweenie bop scene these days. No Doubt, she's already well on her way to losing a bunch of weight she doesn't need to lose and having a bunch of work done on her face that's doesn't need to be fixed. Actually just caught of an on-line gossiper making fun of her and her for-the-second guy jesse. You can see it here:http://www.tiny.cc/rSuLW (http://www.tiny.cc/rSuLW) Wonder who she'll be dating next week at this time...
Movies - Black Dahlia- De Palma's BIG COMEBACK?
2006-09-05 02:51:04
I am pretty excited to see De Palma's first movie in a long, long time.  So far I've only seen a few mixed reviews, Here's one I found this afternoon:http://tinyurl.com/zvnh2 (http://tinyurl.com/zvnh2) .I read the book a while back, and it was pretty cool. Do you guys think this movie will be able to resurrect his De Palma's carrer if it ends up being a hit?
Movies - Re: the texas chainsaw massacre

I agree that the remake was pretty well done. They stuck to true to the original plot but tried some new stuff. Still though, I don't think it's better than the original.
