Gene is great. I wish he got along better with ACE and PETER. They don't just want more money; they also want creative input. The reformed KISS did well because it had all real members of the classic KISS. It got less interesting when Psycho Circus came out.Something changed.The mood wasn't the same.They were treated like special guests, not founding members.Anyway, I hope GENE beats ROB ZOMBIE in the horror movie genre.

Peter Criss Wants A 'Fair' KISS Reunion

He's right.The reason the KISS reunion did so well was because it had all the founding members.The PSYCHO CIRCUS album had little or no input from PETER or ACE. I read about it and didn't buy it for awhile.What they could have done with input from everyone! It's not a good farewell at all.It sounds like PAUL demos ,GENE working with the producer on his solo album with special guests ACE and PETER.The reason it failed is because it didn't reflect the REUNION tour.People flocked to the reunion show because it had the REAL KISS members;people knew the PSYCHO CIRCUS album had studio hacks all over it and to a large degree ignored it.It only went gold, even with all the hype.The ill will translated to the tour which didn't bring in the numbers expected; now, they have two imposters trying to be ACE and PETER; the current version of KISS is FAKE! It's little more than a tribute band.

I was 13 in 1976 and KISS were the soudtrack to my life.Before KISS, I was into comicbooks GODZILLA and THE BEATLES.KISS combined all three. I love GENE, but I wish he would really focus on substance. It's easier to market something you really believe in and know about rather than slap your logo on anything. He should make music or movies where he has alot of creative input and slap his name on it.It would be great if he got involved in the genre of the macabre: horror movies!He could direct, write , produce or act in them.The "MAN OF A THOUSANDS FACES" would blow away ROB ZOMBIE. ROB ZOMBIE has done well; GENE SIMMONS would do much better. He really could be the 21 century LON CHANEY SR.

No More Albums For Kiss

THE EAGLES new album has sold 7+ million copies;CREED has sold 7 million copies. Why can they still sell huge numbers of albums and not KISS? There are lots of million sellers on the charts right now. Check BILLBOARD 's top 20 albums and you will see most are gold or platinum.I thought GENE was a marketing genius; if the EAGLES and CREED can still sell millions of albums than why can't KISS?An album with all four founding members having real creative imput would do well;KISS could include things on the cd that would make it a collectors item and a few hundred thousand KISS fans would by buy it right away and then with some airplay the casual fan would snatch it up as well. They could sell some albums and at least get a gold album with some work.VLAD TEPES
