Wow. Al Lambert has grown up. This is the first photo I've seen of her that hasn't been on the set of "Step By Step". In addtion, she doesn't look all tomboy-ish to me at all! In fact, quite the opposite. She is so darn attractive here. Great ear-rings, too.

He really is the 'Big Ticket'! When he puches in for work (or should I say 'Play' for him), his highlight reel dunks are the end product.

Heidi Montag's 'Higher' Video Is A True Disaster

It sounds eerily similar to the music video to Paris Hilton's 'song', "Stars Are Blind". Right down to the seductive glances to the camera. This sounds like a great case for plagiarism right there.

Angelina Jolie Ruined Lunch For 'Hills' Couple

A meteor? What about a comet? Seriously, though, why sould anyone, even if they are Brangelina and their brood, be able to shut down an entire restaurant, just to enjoy a meal in peace? They should have reserved a special, private area instead. If it was me and my family (being hypothetical here), I would make myself feel even more isolated at that point. Plus it draws even more attention to you, rather than detracts. At least with other celebs in the room, the media would have other people to photograph. Who knows why they did it, all I can say is that they wanted to be left in peace and quiet. If this was the case, have a special cooked meal at home.

No More 'Destiny' For Miley Cyrus
2008-02-07 22:45:42
This topic has me so nonplussed. I mean, was the world outraged when Frederick Auscherwitz changed his name to Fred Astaire? Same thing with Judy Garland and Shirley Temple. What about all those actors and actresses who chose one parent's surname over the other?
I think I would want to change my name to something more 'stagey' if my first name was Destiny. And when Apple Martin, Bluebell Haliwell and Heavenly Hiraani Tiger Lily Hutchence (or should I say Geldof) are old enough to do so, they will probably follow Miley's lead. Will we go crazy bonkers then? I don't think so, because they will not be in the same monicum of limelight as Miley is.
Get off of her back. Changing her name should be her decision and not something that everyday people like us should worry about.

Sports - Re: who will be mvp this year

My pick wasn't included on your list. I'm picking the New Orleans Hornets' PG Chris Paul.  He is putting up some unreal numbers this year, and has helped the Hornets to top spot in their division.  I thought that his Rookie of the Year season was awesome, but he has proven to be much more than expected.  He has also helped elevate Peja Stojakovic's game back to where it was with the Sacramento Kings. Plus, guys like Morris Peterson and David West are becoming much better players thanks to Paul setting them up on a silver platter. Plus, Byron Scott should be Coach of the Year. Paul will probably also take out the All-Star Game MVP trophy. If it's not Paul, then maybe it should be Amare Stoudemire. Little has been said about the impact he has had on the Suns success over the last two years, but it shows in their records with and without him in the lineup.  In the two years he missed through injury, the Suns failed to make the Playoffs.  Since his return, they made the Western Conference Finals, and were unlucky to lose out to the Dallas Mavericks, in 2006. They have also been one of the top five teams in the West since his return from injury.  He came close to becoming MVP after last season, but he could be MVP this year. Of your choices, I would go with Kobe Bryant, if only for the fact that the Lakers, have no true dominant pivot man (although Andrew Bynum may become that within the next two years), and they have had only one other dominant offensive force for all but the last week of this season (that being Lamar Odom). Even though they have acquired Pau Gasol, Kobe has proven that he can carry a team on his shoulders all the way to the postseason. If he can carry the Lakers to a championship, he can finally shake off the "Shaq's Boy Wonder" tag in my eyes.
