I went to the GNR concert in Melbourne last June. I was really getting sick of people who said his voice was shot also having a go at his appearance. The band totally blew me away and as for Axl's voice personally I think he sounds better and his appearance was casual which I personally prefer - nothing like a pair of old jeans and he wears them well still, got a great arse. I've heard rumors of plastic surgery but it has been 15 years since he was last here, and I still think he looks the same maybe better with a bit of weight. Don't like the cornrols or plats whatever but thats about it. Lets hope Chinese Democracy comes soon.
