I feel that Michael W. Smith is OK--however, overrated. I do not mean to ever offend anyone who really thinks he is great, that is fine. However, his singing is average, not spectacular, and I have seen and heard better singers in local churches, Lets face it, he is eye candy and makes a good calendar. This coupled with his association to Billy Graham got him open doors to the top, where as many other more talented singers will never see. He is a pretty face with an average voice. He is far the the best . I am being painfully honest. I think that the Christian community made him into a sex star in christian music. His face is a dime a dozen and so is his voice. He performed several years ago at a Billy Graham crusade and when he stood up after his song was finished from the piano bench, his pants has the back of his rearend completely worn out to where you could actually see the exact outline of his buttocks. I could of fell over. He needs to spurce his clothes up and be more aware of his pants. Again, I do not mean to offend anyone, and if I have, my apologies.
