It’s the grand finale on “Dancing with the Stars” and by the end of a performance filled night an All Star winner would be crowned.
The show opened with all of the couples performing a Lacey Schwimmer choreographed dance. Head judge Len Goodman announced the encore dance they wanted to see was the perfect freestyle from Shawn and Derek.

Once all of the scores and fan votes were tallied the couple that earned third place was Kelly and Valentin.
In his announcement for the winner, host Tom Bergeron said, “now they have won too,” saying that Melissa and Tony finally won their own Mirrorball trophy. Once the winners were announced fellow dancers mobbed Melissa and Tony and hoisted the pair on their shoulders. Finally Bergeron presented the trophy as confetti rained down on the stage.
“Dancing with the Stars” will return next spring.
