Marissa Nadler's album Songs III: Bird on the Water was released to wide acclaim in 2007. MOJO gave the record 4 stars and called her "the most incredible thing happening in music right now" and Uncut said her album is "the most enchanting record from the folk underground since Joanna Newsom's Ys." Pitchfork gave it an 8.1 and called it the "most engaging singer-songwriter release this year."

Marissa has been working on songs for the follow up to Songs III (tentatively scheduled for Fall 2008) and will be testing some of them out on the road in Europe and some select dates in the US. Some of the highlights include ATP vs. Pitchfork in the UK, Lo Fi Folk Feast in Paris, Terrastock in Louisville, KY and a very special appearance with Mark Kozelek (Red House Painters) at the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, MA.
