Mariah Carey injured herself on the set of her new music video on Sunday, resulting in a trip to the hospital.

The pop star dislocated her shoulder while working on the video for a remix of "#Beautiful" with rapper Young Jeezy. Her husband Nick Cannon was directing the shoot.

Carey was released from the hospital after doctors reset her shoulder and is recovering at home. Her spokesman told that "she is fine."

The singer won't be out of commission for too long. She is expected to perform at a Hurricane Katrina benefit concert in New York City on Saturday.

Last week she performed on NBC's Fourth of July special and posted a photo of herself on Twitter wearing a patriotic red, white and blue bikini.

She sang at the BET Awards last month and was accused of lip synching.
