Comedian and actress Margaret Cho is happy to be experiencing a creative resurgence. In addition to her busy tour schedule, Cho also maintains an award winning blog, has taken up bellydancing, and recently started hosting her own variety show, The Sensuous Woman. Featuring a stellar lineup of comedians, bellydancers and burlesque superstars, The Sensuous Woman has been playing monthly in Los Angeles and San Francisco and is being developed for an off-broadway run in the fall. Margaret says, "There's a lot of gender swapping and gender play. It's the gayest show you could have with women stripping in it." Margaret has also returned to primetime TV with recent guest star stints in the Sci–Fi Channel mini-series The Lost Room with Julianna Marguiles and Peter Krause, and a recurring role on Fox's 'Til Death starring Brad Garrett. Margaret is also branching out into directing and just wrapped shooting on the short film, Two Sisters, starring Yunjin Kim (Lost), Tamlyn Tomita and Kal Penn (Harold And Kumar Go To White Castle). In addition, Margaret has announced a slate of new projects that will have her everywhere this Summer and Fall.

For the first time ever, music legends and today's hottest artists take the stage for a historical musical event - Cyndi Lauper, Erasure, Debbie Harry, The Dresden Dolls, The Gossip and The Misshapes with host Margaret Cho join in celebration of the inaugural "True Colors" concert tour in support of the Human Rights Campaign. July will mark the DVD release for Margaret's self-penned and produced full-length feature Bam Bam And Celeste. Bam Bam And Celeste is a madcap small-town-to-downtown coming of age journey that turns longtime friends Bam Bam and Celeste from outcasts to overnight sensations as they leave their buttoned up Midwest town for the wide open streets of New York City. In addition to playing the title role of Celeste, Cho also plays Mommy, the hysterically funny and touching impersonation of her own mother cherished by Cho's fans. Alan Cumming (X2: X-Men United, Tony Award winner for Cabaret), Jane Lynch (The 40 Year Old Virgin, Best In Show), John Cho, Wilson Cruz (Rent, My So-Called Life) and Kathy Najimy (Sister Act 1 & 2) provide irresistibly spirited support. The film is directed by Lorene Machado, Cho's longtime creative collaborator on her concert films. In Bam Bam And Celeste, Cho's outrageous and hilarious, and ultimately empowering personal voice gives birth to a film that captures her infectious spirit. The film will premiere in a red carpet event aboard RSVP Vacations' Queen Mary 2 Historic Crossing, May 29 - June 4, as it sails from New York, NY to Southampton, England. The DVD release from Wolfe Video is planned for July 24th. The DVD will include an exclusive making-of featurette as well as director/actor commentary.
