Madonna's Brother Injured While Resisting Arrest In Michigan
Following an altercation with police officers in Michigan on Sunday, Madonna's brother, Anthony Ciccone, was charged with resisting arrest. He sustained injuries and required medical treatment following the incident.
Police identified Ciccone as a wanted man following a trespassing charge and attempted to arrest him in a bathroom at the Grand Traverse Country Civic Center.
While officers attempted to book him, Ciccone, 56, reportedly resisted, fell, hit his head, and later required nine stitches. Police were eventually able to take him into custody and charged him with resisting arrest and trespassing.
In 2011, Ciccone complained to the media that he was homeless and living under a bridge and his family wasn't helping him get back on his feet.
He told the Michigan Messenger: "My family turned their back on me, basically, when I was having a hard time. You think I haven't answered this kind of question a bazillion times - why my sister is a multibazillionarie, and I'm homeless on the street?
